Help Laptop

Hello Guys

yesterday i got the virus "Bundespolizei" on my laptop.
That was not the problem i started the laptop with f8 in save mode.
There i found a website where i read how to beat this virus.
Unfortunately i my norton started and yeah my laptop crashed..
I tried to start my latop but everytime it crashes..and restarts to the point
where i have to chose how i want it to start it.. (black window with white letters.)

please help me , i dont want to delete all and install vista again.. there is much school stuff for my futur , photos... , important things i dont want to lose..

help pleaseeeeeeeeeee

is there not away u can do a fresh operating install and still keep your files (maybe like a repair)

Start the notebook in safe mode, backup all your data and re-install Windows afterwards.

(Safe mode: Turn on your notebook, after the BIOS POST screen, immediately press F8 and choose Windows safe mode)

that doenst work like i said ..
if i chose safe mod --> it starts again with the BIOS POST screen and ask me wether i want to start windows normal ...

You could just put the Hard Disk out of your Computer (ok, with a Laptop it may be a bit more difficult, but it should be possible), the you attach the Hard Disk to another Computer (You need S-ATA to USB adapter or you just link the Hard Disk directly to the Mainboard, you have to open the Case for this), copy all your Data and then you have to re-install the operation system.
that's the only way I guess...
But it's quite simple, or at least not as complicated as it sounds.

first of all thanks for the help :))
i found a nice pc spezialist with a nice repair disk.
it worked with f12 ... etc. but it took me 3 hours...
