New Competition suggestions?

Id like to hear from everyone there suggestions for our next tournament

ive got still 400 microsoft points and british mw3 special forces avater for prizes

Try maybe a team deathmatch, domination or capture the flag deal, where at least four members to each team and the one team who comes out on top earns the prizes, and whoever does the best on that team earns all the mircosoft points + the british airforce thing, whereas the other team members only get the british airforce thing.

Mabye a team based game:

2v2 or 3v3.

Torney system, you choose ya partner and play mabye ctf and 3 points for a win 1 point draw 0 pts loss. Goes into like a table format maby lasting several months or overall a year mabye this could have a bigger reward for the 2 winners.

Yeah but since he only has two prizes left were gonna need to donate more prizes cause there is no way you can split that fairly, I like the CTF idea though, maybe we can have a tourney go on and have members post if they want to partake on this forum, we divide them into legitmate fair groups based on a qualifying round which we can have this week
we post a bracket online based on the results and message everyone what group they are in, also it could be a system were two teams can win prizes, the first prize go to the one who wins the main bracket, then when people lose they can move to the losers bracket where they face off so for a second prize. first prize could be 400 Mircosoft points and/or free DLC for mw3 (if we can do something like that) second prize for the losers bracket can be the british outfit and some more points, possibly double xp.

Mabye Rendom teams, During the year i can afford to donate a bit of money every month an then give the winning pair the code for say 2100 MS points as an example (each ofc). mabye we can do that as a long term prize, if its a long term competition it will only be about £40 in a year working out at around £4 per month.

I would be willing to donate, if needed, but if we can we can also make it a long term competition where the winner of it is based on the number of smaller competitions, for example, we have 4 smaller competitions in the next month where there are 3 small prizes up for grabs, then we have the team with the highest average score win the grand prize.

I feel thats very complicated, its hard enough getting many of the members actively using the forums, let alone complicating the competition lay out. I like the idea but it would take many members, currently we have about 20 members or so + apps, by making active torneys and stuff it will make members use forums and grow much better as a team, i think that we need to have a torny such as i suggested over long term but also a short term on every couple of moths to keep people wanting to play and represent Tx/G, i will also enter us for competitions vs other clans, when we get our makeover :p

Yeah, I guess your mostly right, the clan is still small, I just have big ideas
Definetly we should have a long term competition involving a statistic chart based on teams, but random teams always end up with stacked or terrible team members, such as getting some of the top 5 in the clan under one team verus three noobs members (no offense to anyone). Thats my main concern.

It will be teams of 2v2, i have come up with this idea in the form of building partnerships between players so that the community can grow, this means those that know none already in this clan such as RoB (who knew none before he joined at least, could be paired with someone who knew people in this clan already mabye Hasero (not wanting to wish anything bad on rob ofcourse). This would help people out and if a players partner left the clan thenn mabye another would replace him or her. that is new to the clan, i mean to say that we have many friends here but none that mingle together just thought it would be a nice envirioment and time to get players knowing eachother.

Also would be an advantage to those who are considerign taking part in our more competitive external matches.

Hmm, I am not sure whether the prize should be TO big, because There are sure to be competitive people in a MW3 clan, and people might get angry and/or upset if they lose by a small amount or by a teammate grabbing the flag just seconds before the other one . I think competitions that are more regular with much smaller prizes would cause less tension, but maybe people like the tension... i dunno!

On being in the clan fully now I see all the people in the clan are good friends so this wouldn't really happen (unless fresh blood gets accepted, he's very competetive!!!)

I mite be getting 2 more 400 microsoft points so the total points is 1200 it would be enough to make the prize the new map pack

I think 1v1 would be a bit to slow , my vote is for 2v2 so that the poeple cant be one man heroes as much, they need to work as a team

The post under this one makes sense, I think points so if your unlucky and get set against the best team strait away it isn't over for you :)

I think a 2v2 tdm, or a 2v2 ctf would be fun.

Teams for any 2v2 torneys will be randomly selected most likely.

Now should we do it like a points system, win = 3, draw = 1, loss = 0. Or a knock out one?
