Ribéry shouldn't have gotten a penalty in the first half, was a proper dive after Ramos wiped some dirt off his shoulder.

Should've been a penalty second half though, when Gomes got sandwiched by Alonso, Coentrao, Ramos and who else?

I myself very much enjoyed the match, especially the first half, when play went from box to box and Bayern completely dominated Madrid after the first 10-15 min.

Pity Marcelo went mental on Müller at the end. Also shame Müller failed to stand out even for a moment in the 20(?) min he played.

Deserved win imo.

It was hard to see on the cameras, but I think Ramos hit the ball first and afterwards Coentrao hit Gomez a little bit, yes there was some contact, but after a legit save by Ramos, so Gomez had no chance to get to the ball. No penalty then since no chance to score a goal was denied. But as I said, very hard to see on TV, I might be wrong there.

Anyway they played really well today and over 90 minutes deserved to win, Madrid played pretty bad tonight. Let's see what's going to happen next week, that match will probably be great.

I thought it was at first Gomes going for it, then Ramos flying in and Coentrao at same time playing the ball. Wasn't too clear anyway, dutch TV guy mentioned it and seemed plausible to me to be honest. Ramos got away pretty well overall I believe, same for Marcelo.

Can't wait till next week match, sure it'll be a great one, with Madrid having to attack more than they did today in especially the 2nd part of both the first as well as the second half. Bayern will probably attack as well, since I'm not too amazed by their defence yet, seem little vulnerable still. Hope both sides will attack at least.

I personally hope it'll be Bayern - Chelsea or Real - Chelsea. Bayern would be cool.

David Alaba was the star of the game for me. He's only 19 years old, this is only his 4th or 5th game as left back and he totally controlled Di Maria and took him out of the game, while still being extremely dangerous wehen attacking. PLEASE let him be our LB for the next 15 years!

no. Podolski on the left wing. Götze was injured for most of the season and doesn't really have much international experience. Most likely the starting 11 for the Euro will look like this:
