Arsenal drawing with Stoke wasn't the best result, but with Newcastle being decimated by Wigan it makes it a lot easier, Newcastle still have to play Chelsea, Man City and Everton in the run in and I can't see them winning all of those matches.

One of the worlds best players imo. GREAT deal for Arsenal. If RVP stays they'll be dangerous next season.

It would be better for them to buy someone more "creative" on the left side, Podolski is more like a 9 imo. I don't know where he'll play, if he's just next to RVP in the middle of the attack, it will be good, but if he plays on the left side, i don't know what they will do.

Arsenal needs creative players to give the ball to RVP, well, if they buy him + Hazard, that would be really good, but only him.. I don't know, it can work but i don't think he's the right one.

I think he is a great signing, even if he plays on the left. We have lacked goalscorers and have been relying too heavily on RVP. Walcott is ever improving and I'm sure Podolski will chip in with a few assists as well. Also rumours that we have made a bid for Athletic Bilbao's Markel Susaeta. As great a player Hazard is, I wouldn't want us to sign him, too expensive and his attitude seems a bit off to me.

I would like to see someone like Belhanda come in, great goalscoring midfielder who gets a few assists. I think Wenger is mainly going after M'Vila at the moment though.

Would like to see something like this:

Szczesny

Sagna - Koscielny - Vermaelen - Gibbs

Song/M'Vila

Belhanda/Arteta/Song - Wilshere

Walcott - Podolski

I highly doubt we will change system, Chamberlain isn't ready to start every game yet and there is no chance of us buying Adam Johnson or Jesus Navas in my opinion. Sinclair could happen, but I doubt it.

Thinking about it, I think we need another centre back, someone who is versatile who can play in every position at the back well. I think Vertonghen would be a good addition.

Podolski CAN play on the left, but his normal and strongest position is clearly behind the main striker as a false 9. Wenger has played 4-2-3-1 last season a lot, where Fabregas could fill in the central offensive role, which is now pretty much emptly. The ideal line up with him would be:

---------------------- Szczesny ---------------------------
Sagna---- Koscielny ---- Vermaelen ---- Gibbs/Santos
------------- Song ----------- Wilshere -------------------
--- Walcott ---------- Podolski -------------- Ox -----------
---------------------- van Persie---------------------------

Wilshere won't be fit for the start of next season, which is a shame. Perhaps Ramsey will be forced to play there? or they will have to do a bit a transfer talking. Still think they should get Adam Johnson, he's a great player, but Mancini doesn't like his "attitude" and I hear he's getting a wee bit pissed off because he never plays any games.

If Van Marwijk finds a way to make RVP beast NL team rather than constantly fail when he's with us, he'll make us win EURO 2012

People are forgetting Arteta, I'd say he's been are second best player this season.

Nah. Italy will beat Germany to secure Euro 2012 :>
I think we have our chances, if you look at some of our players we're actually not bad (e.g. Cassano, Abate, Giovinco, Buffon, Marchisio, Nocerino :>)
