I think the loan spell back in Russia did him a world of good. He looked so confident last night, not seen him perform like this .. since...like Euro 2008!

Yes we played bad, but the referee was a bit blind, he didnt see 3 times hands by denmakr, they made hands twice in the 16m area.... would have been at least 2 penaltys.

Luck wasnt in our favour, we could have won 7 - 1 if they just rounded up the goals better ><

Ah well, Germany didnt do to good, raises my hope a bit...

Overall a lucky win from a Germany side that had a rock-solid defence but lacked in attacking force. Really looking forward to the Holland game now

Defensively Germany were solid yesterday, Hummels started quite nervously it seemed but grew into the game and gave a stand out performance in the centre of defence.

New Arsenal striker Podolski didn't particularly stand out for me but he seemed very hard working and got himself into the decent positions. What a fantastic header from Gomez though.
