Server Break Ins >.<

People are breaking into the private server and its just getting out of hand now

I'm just making a note that to turn off your xfire one - click - join so people cant join you in xfire.


First , Go to Xfire , Then Click "Tools" and go to "Options" Like the pic below.



Second, Go to the Privacy Tab and Uncheck "Show My Gameserver Data" And press "OK" Like The Picture Below.




Now people wont see the IP or join you through xfire so people don't break into our private server ... It would be great if you guys help out i'm getting really sick of this! we have to stop these break ins in our server!

yea, thanks a lot for this bounty. we should've done this earlier.

but changing ip is something only vash can do. we might, because the noobs get really annoying.

only members know it and apps get it if they are invited for a testmatch.

it's really getting annoying. I turn on the server for a match & when I get on the server 1 min later there are already 1 or 2 noobs on it.......

yee, but cos sum ppl always let their server infos on xfire on or like tell the IP on public servers to others **cough** *sidewink to someone who's anonymous* **cough** always some noobs get on it. it's the generals job to turn the server off as much as possible and only open it if members want to play on it.

so, it's not avoiadable to change IP over a long time.

hmm, idk who it was, but I've several times seen members share our pvt ip on the full DM server Oo (of course I wasn't there as Davy, ya know).
