School Shooting in Newtown, CT

There was a school shooting in an elementary today in Newton, Connecticut that left 26 people dead, the majority being children. My thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost their loved ones.

It's so tragic when events like these happen, my heart also goes out to all the families involved. I'm also worried about all the other parents with children in the US, I would start feeling worried about sending my children to school every time.

More unnecessary gun violence. How many victims does the US need to finally review how they want to hand out guns to its citizens.

It's absolutely ridiculous and sickening, I just don't understand the thought process that makes people do this sort of thing. The US seriously need to review their gun laws.

Thoughts go out to families and friends of the victims.

Funny, I live near that area too...... Fortunately it didn't affect me as much as it unforunately affected others..... lots of others

According to what I've heard/read those guns were property of the killer's mother, he just killed her and then took her guns, so he didn't buy them. Anyways I agree when everyone says that America has some gun issue to face, that's well known. I'm just sorry for all those innocent and mainly very young victims.

So tragically, children who had their entire life before them died..

I hope their deaths are going to mean something and the gun-law in the U.S. is going to change.
