after installing gimp and become good at making sig i think i'm going to start doing somthing i always wanted to do.

To make comics

i know it sounds werid but i think i can do it with help from lots and lots of tuts

i got a started on making up a story but i'm still not sure on what to do.


i was wondering if u guys can help me and support me.

it takes place somewhere in the future. (SCI-FI FTW)

the story is about 3 soldiers.

1. u have a pilot of a command cruser who is learning how to be a good capt. (and or commander)

2. there is a MECH pilot who is sort of like a lone wolf who does special missons alone but realizes he rly wants to help the frontlinesmen

3. (my fav. and main character) Pvt. ...(haven't got the name yet )
u follow him through the training academy on earth, after the academy he becomes a sargent of a squad of soldiers who he went through training with. the dude meets the other 2 guys throughout the story and fights a long and hard war.

this is the part i need ur guys' help in

1. who r they fighting?
aliens, normal humans, or super humans (sort of like killzone)

2. i need help with ranks i'm not good with them i need to know from pvt to the highest rank

3. i need some info on ships like what the sides and stuff r called, etc.

4. and most inportant post a name of the pvt. (optional u can give him some ideas on how he or other characters should look like, or other ideas of other characters in the story)

Aliens that can change apperence, voice(Like Mystice in X-men) although the time to use it is limited to about 5 hours and they have to wait 10 hours to use it again, as they are in war with you. They are trying to figure out something that will make it last longer

I also think that he should be half human half alien(the one you're fighting) but he doesn't discover his powers untill his best friend died in the battlefield. He is trying to hide his powers course he thinks his people will execute him(Which they would)
