Invalid CD Key [actually it's not ...]

Post by Ironhide »

Since I got my new Computer, RepCom doesnt work anymore.
At first I had XP, everything was fine, then I installed Vista Ultimate and now the game always says that my Key is not valid >.<
I use the same as I always do and I tried in several servers, I also tried two other keys of friends of me who stopped playing...
I can play about 5 seconds then I crash, and when I quit the game I get also an error of Vista.

Someone has any idea?

You may tell us how? So other people won't need to open new topics.

I think that was only a problem with my CD, there was missing the file with the CD Key in the registry.
I took the one of my old XP HDD and now it works.

Oh fuck ... I just forgot it! I had the same problem and there is a really simple solution:
Just go to your RepCom-Install directory e.g.

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files\Star Wars Republic Commando\Install
There you find a program called "CDKey.exe". Just run it and type in your cd key. That's it ....

Waah I'm sorry, that I remembered so late ...
