New site I'm setting up, feel free to post about RC or .. not about RC.
http://www.rcnetwork.freeforums.org/portal.php
Also, with permission I'd like to put an up-to-date member list on my site. Is that ok with ]-TX-[?
RCNet

Re: RCNet
It's a neutral area. A place where people who are in one RC clan can talk to those in another RC clan without having to visit their forums. It's just a place to talk without fear of abuse or clanbashing or anything. You don't have to post there, but it'd be nice if you did

Re: RCNet
It's good that some people care about this game, as you do, and this website is not a bad idea at all,
but maybe you should try that it looks better, another design, buttons etc.
Because than more people would use it I think.

Re: RCNet
We had the RCF (Republic Commando Federation) which changed to VG (Vital Gaming).
The VG staff is working on it to get it back online.
So this RC network thingy is just more spam out there..... esspecially since it's hosted on free forums.

Re: RCNet
I'll get around to designing a theme and stuff eventually, just haven't had a chance yet cos I drink far too much, lol. Do you have any suggestions on that front?Ironhide wrote:It's good that some people care about this game, as you do, and this website is not a bad idea at all,

And Vash, at least I'm trying. Not all of us have enough money to buy a dedi box.

Re: RCNet
Who told you that you need a dedi box to host forums you installed by yourself? There are tons of free webspace hosters around. Just get one and install your own adds-free forum.TheDude wrote:And Vash, at least I'm trying. Not all of us have enough money to buy a dedi box.
By the way: If you want more, just pay a really small amount and get good webspace e.g. from 1&1. I don't see the problem at all.
You won't need dedicated servers for a small community forum.
