The crosshairs are a very small part of PROMOD. You'll get used to them, that's shouldn't be a big deal. And the weapon damage.... isn't actually changed, except for for the sniper, which now always got the same damage whether you scope or not.

And for those small "reasons" you refuse to play such a great mod? I don't get it.

Btw: Is the sniper damage 60% now? I did a poll as you know and everybody wanted a stronger sniper.

Maybe you can add blood effects as in the campaign. When you hit a Trando or Droid with your knife, that the blood splashes on your helmet.

You don't like and don't know why? Sorry, Geniuz but that's impossible. Ppl who say it's another game feeling should change the hardware sitting in front of their pc in my opinion. It's exactly the same just with other ch's and different dmg.

ive played with the same settings for 2 and a half year now. it takes like two blaster magazines to kill ur opponent and the sniper shots go trough your enemy but dont cause any damage. i dont care if u say its not, at least it feels like and thats crappy.

The Republic Commando community is so fucking stupid. It's always like "omg this weapon has no damage anymore" and "wtf the blaster does not shoot as fast as before" or "I can not play because of this and that". All these unbelievably poor excuses are bullshit, sometimes it's because of the tickrate and then because of a mod which did not even change the thing you complain about! I remember players complaining about the high tickrate in a match I played with Vash, and for the rematch he changed the settings but they've still been like "fucking lowping the blaster is so slow" - that was so funny and just proved that all your arguments are CRAP! You guys have fucking no idea what you're talking about and these nonsense comments are so annoying! Stop arguing with FEELINGS when it is about FACTS and technical settings! When you've just NO IDEA OF ANYTHING then you should just BE QUIET!

And from now on I do not want to see any comments about the tickrate or any weapon's damage anymore! Please get rid of this BULLSHIT that the blaster shoots slower (neither with a high tickrate nor in promod because we have not changed anything at the blaster) or that the sniper causes no damage at all.

here:

Step1
copy the hudarmsanimations in your RC directory and
paste/re-name it.
2.go to the animation browser and do file open: (your new animaitons)
3. Delete all the meshes and animation sets EXCEPT for the ones you are using
save
4. rename the mesh and animation set (you MUST do this
5. apply the invisible texture to the weapon, and paners, in my case the uzi (found under Hud Textures)
6. create a new emmiter, under displayed advance, take the static mesh of the new weapon and apply it
under display, make "unlit"=false
7.go back to the animation borwser to your new hudarms, click on the "Load" animation, and on the right, click the notify tab.
8. add an effect notify with the frame at 0.001 and then new
9. make the bone=weaponattach_R
attach=true
effect class= the name of the new emmiter

Now for the next promod it can have dc15blasterclone with scope or even the blasterdc17 can have the sniperscope also droidblaster etc etc. ayayyyyyyyyy :shocked:
i made nu moded mp pikups already to test and sent them to iron so the future is bright.......the future is promod. 1.2. :wink:
