Alright the latest topic about PROMOD became a bit spammed and confusing so I will start a new one.

You probably do not know but maybe you suppose that realizing the PROMOD v1.0, v1.1 and v1.1a took a lot of work for everyone who helped us doing it.
The result is pretty good in my opinion, and there are like no bugs and those who exist could be fixed easily. But actually it seems like there is no one who gave it a serious try and most ppl did not even download it/install it.

However, this is pretty sad in my opinion but maybe can be changed with another patch, v1.2, but as the Map Pack 2010 recently failed because no one cared (even though they complained about the 2009 version) I wonder if the time we would have to spent in doing another PROMOD is worth and would be appreciated.
I currently doubt this a lot to be honest and barely see a reason to continue working on it.

If you think it would be worth doing another patch, I'd be up to do so if I find enough guys who are ready to help. But to know thas I need your opinions and suggestions. Also I ask you to be honest, say if you would download, install and play PROMOD matches. Please do not lie as the last time when we spent hours and nights of a lot of work into a mod no one wants.

And please.. Do me a favor and DO NOT spam in here or I'll just forget about this asap.

well i got the last one and nobody was ever on the server and nobody ever asked me fro promod matches

if u made as good as possible i wud get it and play it

Well... I think ProMod became infamous due to many installing problems at the beginning. After that nobody wanted to riun his RC version and so they never tried it again. Don't ask my why ppl had these probs, I have no idea.. but that is definately the main reason. I think we have to make it more popular and announce it in other forums as well. As I also did some work for ProMod, I know how much work it is and as you said it's rly disapointing to see that nobody is playing it.

anyway i liked the promod but not as the normal mod tbh

Thats the Problem! If you just wait for matches they wont happen. Try to organize it on your own ;)

Chosing the folder and using the copy&paste hotkeys takes about 10 seconds. Way too much expected, I see... Also there should not be any trouble if everyone followed the installation guide, just as Storm said I have no clue why ppl had such problems with it. Probably no one read it.

Also if you dislike anything about the promod just tell us.

Would you be so kind then and tell us what exactly you don't like? We'd like to improve our work and please as many people as possible with it, but with such a statement you are no real help. Thanks in advance.

I got a bad feeling while playing promod. I don't like the crosshair and I also dislike the damage of the weapons.

Please dont be disheartened IRON u guys did a topjob. ja STORM is rite because of the initial problems sum ppl were put off. Well TX need to make posts of promod on the other clan sites and organise a interclan tourney maybe but dats de warkabinet job ja ? anyways il help again if help neede any way i can okya. Keep up the gudwerk !!
