I want to support Kappa due to a new semi-active member, I already posted a request about my "normal membership" in the Command Council and I am waiting for the final decision. I want to play RepCom more actively from now on and I want to be a full part of a Squad, therefore I will have to be a member like everyone else to receive any promotion. Being a member withing a group means more for me than being a honored rank, I actually received it because I went inactive, therefore it is just fair if I lay it down if I become more active again. People know the work I have done and so do I, currently I dont feel the need of having a special rank to prove that :-) An additional point is that if I lay down my honored rank, we have an other "normal" member being represented in the Command Council like it was the main idea on forehand.

Well you'd be a normal ranked member in the Republic Commando division then, but you are still a General in the MW 2 Division therefore you're still a high ranked member in the CC ;)

As planned, Lionheart has generously decided to step down from his StSgt spot in order to play RepCom actively again in the Kappa squad. He is now a Sergeant of this squad.

It is but with all the negative consequences it needs.

If someone demoted himself, he cannot expect to be promoted any faster than any other member, nor can he expect to get his old rank back because "he had it already".

So basically you'd better be sure of yourself when you demote yourself.

What concerns LH, he did it to have a squad back and to help Kappa; the rank doesn't really matter !
