Changes in the RepCom Division !

Hey everybody !


As you already may have heard, we have decided to fix a few things in our RepCom division in order to increase the activity of our clan in this section. We hope these changes will be efficient and will have a great feedback !


• First of all, I would like in the name of the whole clan to thank Atomx for his great dedication and loyalty to the clan ! He has never left us, always tried to be in good contact with everybody, and is a respectable member of our clan ! Definitely happy to have guys like you in TX, Atomx !

I therefore announce Atomx is promoted to the honorific Staff Sergeant rank !


• Theta squad also sees some renewing ! After more than 2 years and 9 months of existence, we have decided to split this squad into Omicron squad. Our aim is to, as written above, bring people back to gaming, and to make everybody well surrounded here in TX !

However, the Generals and myself will decide of a few moves from Omicron to Kappa aswell, in order to rebalance the squads, since the green one is a little bit overcrowded now.

If you have any wish regarding these squad changes, feel free to contact your General and we will try to find a solution. But please do not wait too long !


• Of course, you are wondering who is taking the Omicron Commander spot !

This person is : Legend !

His impressive skills and always decent attitude, his loyalty and his friendliness have make us elect him as the next leader of the squad ! I am very sure he will do a great job, and make sure everybody under his commands feels comfortable ! Do not hesitate to contact him if you need anything ! Congratulations and good luck with your new rank !


• An other important point is that we have decided that squads can have 2 leaders more often, instead of one only. We will start with the "old system" (1 Commander) but when a Commander goes partly inactive / has less time to care about his squad, a LGen will be elected so that we can keep our squads active. The LGen will have to respect the Commander's decision in case of conflict between them, but they will basically be together in charge of the squad.

You may say this was always so, but the LGen's will be elected faster from nowon, and, moreover, here are their rights:


Powers of LGen: Vote power, responsability for their squad members, promotion/demotion responsability, care of their members, RC forums moderation powers.

• Vote system will be posted asap.


• Every RepCom member can now see the old Zeta and Theta subforums (which are locked), in order to keep memories of our clan's history !

Good decision to have only 2 squads. Also congratulations to Legend and Atomx for their new spots.

But I see a problem with that decision though: With 1 GrCom, one DivCom and 2 Commanders there are only 4 votes available now. That means 1 no vote would always mean an applicant is denied, and if it is a rejoin and one Commander who neither votes nor no-votes will also deny the application. And actually, since Vash is very inactive right now, no one can rejoin TX at the moment and an abstention from voting by one commander in one application will make it impossible to join.

I remember 1.5 years ago there were a DivGen and a DivCom (now only DivCom), there have also been the Epsilon, Zeta and Theta squads. During that TX lost 4 possible votes for their applicants, but the application system always stayed the same.

It is almost impossible to join TX with that system. Sure you said you will select s "sub-com" if a Commander is inactive, but even with 4 active voters it is impossible to stick to the current system.

Afaik those were not allowed to vote anyway, just with the permission by their squad leader and then he could not vote anymore. At least it was that way during my ZeMGen time.

Just saying this would not help with the "missing vote solution".

The LGen was allowed to take the full rights of a Gen when he was away. He was just not allowed to no-vote an applicant. That's it.

This and now he always has the same powers as a Commander, no matter whether he is officially or unofficially inactive, excpet for the fact not to respect the Com's'decisions.
