I know that it's not my Map Pack, and that I am not the "boss", but actually I knew that we can't use your map now, as Vash said as well, since he is the boss and I got the information by him I actually was in the position to denie your wish...

I was not the only one who tested the maps this time as well, Vash, Krauser, Zarbon, you etc. were involved in the decision ...

As I said before, Vash said as well that we can't use the map now, where is your problem? Because I knew that before he posted it here it does not mean that it was not sure before.

dear esteemed tx sirs i feel i must mention it is not easy i am sure to organise a modmap pack and a lot of wurk must go into creating it . it is important that the style and quality of tx is stamped on the maps involved.to maintain the hi standards. i feel i must mention that the map TX_MINES is NOT up to your hi standards and must rapidly be replaced or REWORKED itis too small .im sorry to say.most people that see this say to me also. i have a map id like to suggest as its replacement it would need some further enhancement by tx modders to improve it but it has the tx style very much like TX_container it is called CRATEBASE it is by a guy nikname bourne and cobra137 is his xfire. as far as im told by him he dusnt play rc any more and he almost deleted the map.u kan download it from my filefront i post link here for your perusal ..

another map which is nice is a map by a small german clan called PFW itis DM_COULDCITY.ctm it would be nice to see this map on tx minus the noob weps of course .it is also on my filefront for download.

anyway, even if I was right or wrong, you'd say it's not you, that it's vash who said it, etc etc etc, and there will not have a end for this situation. PLEASE stop going crazy Xstrange. Ironhide played a very important role for making this new map pack possible and I really thank him for his great work.

I don't really get what you're actually complaining about? Just because he told you that you must wait?

Come on guys, this is seriously really like kindergarten. If you don't like the maps or if you don't like how the MOD server is set, just DO NOT PLAY there. That's it. No one forces you to.

And once you guys sent us your maps, you just lost all the rights on them, since you placed the TX MOD server logos in them and allowed TeamXtreme to publish them in a map package. You're not in the position to tell us what we can do with those maps or what we can't do. We will put them on the MOD servers with exactly the changes WE want.

I'm sorry, but I think some people here don't understand how our system works.

its nothing about losing our "rights" on those maps its about who´s doing the changes. idk what xstrange or floo think about this but for me those are still "my maps". and i want to be the one who´s editing them just because every mapper has his own style on placing spawns weapons etc. and to keep the maps in my "style" i want to be the one who´s making changes on them. anyway i posted my maps here to hear your opinion so i dont have anything against changing anything and making the map better.... i hope you are able to understand what im trying to say...

Yes I understand your statement, Shanks.

But you have to live with the "terms & conditions" of making MOD maps for TeamXtreme if you want to see your maps on the MOD server. That's it.

If you don't agree with this, just don't provide your maps for an usage on the MOD server. Easy thing I guess.

that´s not the point i was trying to make. i want my maps to be on the mod server but y cant i be the one to change it if there are changes needed?

Do you read my posts?

I said if there are e.g. 5 different mappers and I want all 5 maps being changed (regardless what kind of changes) I don't want to waste my time with explaining it every single guy... and probably I will need to answer questions like "Why?", "What?" etc...

With our current system we can be very fast and smart. The people get provided by new maps way faster.

Germans say "Alles aus einer Hand." ;-)

Floo wants his map of the server and wont edit it so there were xstrange and I. i get your point and i can totally understand it but i think in this case asking not one but two persons isnt such a big effort.anyway the changes are done so it´s useless to talk about this anymore...

Why should I do that if I can do it way easier? The guy who helps me doing it knows exactly what I want.

In other words: Please don't worry, the style of your maps aren't getting touched. They're 99% as you gave them to us.

A map created by Shanks don't need to be edited by an others mappers ...
