[BFBC2] Closing the Division

Dear Teamxtreme members,
it is sad but it's true. We are going to close the Bad Company 2 Division of TX. Maybe you already knew that this would happen, after the massive leavings of our Members. At first I tried to reactivate it, but the Battlefield 3 Division started, and I thought there is no sense to continue this. It is really sad that this happens now after 1 1/2 year, but we can't change it.

I already talked to DC-17 about it, and he thinks the same, that it's better to close the Division, rather than letting it go totally inactive. We will close the Division temporary, at least until Battlefield 3 gets released. Beause if Battlefield 3 fails, our BFBC2 Division might get a new chance. For the moment I want to concentrate on the BF3 Division, and I want to help that Division as much as I can, so I won't have time for Bad Company 2.

I want to thank TeamXtreme for the nice time here as Bad Company 2 Division General, as it was always fun to play with the Members before they left. I tried my best to keep it alive but it is now time to close this division.

I told you guys before if you are too lazy to write a simple "Goodbye" or something like that then just dont post in such topics. I told it to you guys before and I´m tired of repeating myself over and over again.

Well in my opinion the division could have been reactivated with a little bit of effort. It was the same situation as when DC made his post "recruit or division will be closed", and it worked then too.

It's been much harder for the MW2 division some weeks ago when many members left, but its memberes tried to stick together and are on a very good way to rebuild the division. Why should not this be possible with BFBC2? I think you gave up too fast.

Nope. As the MW2 Div left, there was like 8 active Members.
As the BC2 Div left, there was like 1 active Member. ( me )

But from your Div only 5-6 members left and in our Div a whole squad. Also we weren't THAT active and some of us were inactive. Why dont you give the Div a 2nd chance? Start recruiting people in-game.

Well actually I am not that informed to judge or comment it right. You will have your reasons and if you think it's better to close the division, you, as Div Gen, are right. Also you talked to Dc and he's same opinion, so there's nothing to discuss anymore. Have fun by playing BC2 and GL in your gaming career!

Just because 2 members have the same opinion it does not mean it's the best solution.
