Assault rifles - ACR, Scar L, CRM, FAD
In order - 1. FAD, 2. ACR, 3. Scar L, 4. CRM
Why no Type 95? Type 95 is really a boring weapon. You'll lose all fun in the game and it'll be incredibly boring to play with it. You'll lose respect from people.
Why FAD is num 1? FAD has the smallest damage, but it's faster than a MP7. It may not have as strong as the range of the others have, but you're still atacking the same person from the distance the other ones are at. Not like you're shooting them from across the map. FAD will take the enemy out just as fast as an ACR, except it is actually faster ;). Stick extended mags on it and you can take out 3-5 enemies attacking at once. It's recoil is verticals so you'll get a headshot a lot. The good thing is a headshot does a 1.7 multiplier. Two shots will take them down if you get their head. You don't need kick because kick doesn't really doing anything. Best choices are attachments, stability, and focus.
SMGs - PP90M1, MP7, P90 in that order too.
Why PP90M1? You can use almost any profiency and have a good game. You don't need rapid fire, so you can have an extra attachment. The bad part is aiming. It's like the ak-47. Stick extended mags on it and you got a fast pace gun for rushing.
Why not P90? It may have a lot of bullets, but you're not goin to get the kill Everytime, and it's slower and rapid fire doesn't help it that much. Extended mags doesn't get you a whole lot more kills as you're not going to get 4 kills with it right then and there.
Best Shotgun - KSG
I shouldn't explain it. Grip + damage = 1 hit 95% of the time. Even with them having a ballistic vest on.
This will be updated later!
Best guns of each class.

Re: Best guns of each class.
I know it's mostly a matter of opinion, but imo, the FAD is terrible.
It may be faster than most guns including the MP7, but alot of guns beat it when it comes to range, and I don't mean across the map, but even merely 20m away.
In fact, the FAD takes 4 bullets close range, 5 long, and ACR 3 short 4 long, so as long as you get a few hits with the acr you can probably kill, which may make a difference when comparing with the FAD.
Also, the ACR is quickest in reloading, 1.9 secs, the fastest, FAD is 3.2 secs, the slowest. Even with sleight of hand that can make a big difference.
Also, another problem arises when people head camp, the FAD is probs not the best gun to use against those type of situations
Also, although the best shotgun may be the KSG-12, the best for newbies and average players would be the striker, just because of the fact that you have so much more room for error, and also is good in range, seeing as you can shoot quicker, whereas if the KSG 12 gets a hit marker, it may be too late to hit the guy again.
It has the same long distance damage as striker, and apparently a damage of 28 short range whereas striker is 25 (may not be exact but you get the idea)
I'm sure alot of people would disagree though, seeing as it's based on opinion, but thanks for the useful topic

Re: Best guns of each class.
in my opinion there is no universal best weapon because it is all about how comfortable you are with your weapon of choice. some people would use a type 95 because its damage rate and accuracy but I personally don't like using 3-shot burst weapons because it requires pin point accuracy which unfortunately I don't have at the moment.
when i first started mw3 i used the SCAR-L as my primary assault rifle because i was comfortable with that weapon, I pretty much used that weapon until I got gold camo and then I went looking for a different weapon to use and through youtube i discovered that people (xjaws, thesyndicateproject etc...) use the mp7 so i used that and fell in love
, I use this weapon now a awful lot and even used a prestige token when i prestiged to unlock it for ever (best decision i ever made)
so back to the question in hand
best assault rifle- ACR 6.8
best sub machine gun-MP7
best sniper rifle- MSR or AS50 depending on how you use it (MSR for quick/no scoping or AS50 for hardscoping)
best shotgun- cant really say because i think shotguns are for noobs

ACR is no where close to the best assault rifle.xsoljakid1995x wrote:in my opinion there is no universal best weapon because it is all about how comfortable you are with your weapon of choice. some people would use a type 95 because its damage rate and accuracy but I personally don't like using 3-shot burst weapons because it requires pin point accuracy which unfortunately I don't have at the moment.

Scar L is faster and will kill the person in the same amount of hits. It takes ACR 3 hits to kill someone up close and 4 hits far away. Same with the Scar.
MP7 can be the number 1 machine gun, just depends on who's using it.

Re: Best guns of each class.
KSG was the first shotgun I used and I got kills with it like crazy. I then went to striker and found it was better (EXTRA MAGS GLITCH [It did extra damage on everyone with extra mags in shotguns]) Now KSG doesn't even really give a hit marker. It just needs 4 bullets to hit the guy. That's not even half it's shell.vsps7 wrote:I know it's mostly a matter of opinion, but imo, the FAD is terrible.

FAD = headshots. That's why it's the best. I've only used it for 2 days and I have 194 headshots. I get 5-9 headshots a game. Then every level to use an AR is good for FAD. The only level for an AR that is bad for it is Bakara, They're too far away.
FAD in Hardhat is a perfect example. Assault rifles will shoot that far, FAD will too. In the main area you can shoot 3-4 guys with extra mags as you'll headshot them and have enough bullets with the fire rate. Reloading, Meh. You don't really need to reload if you got extra mags. Also depends in your situation. If the enemy is literally 5 feet away from you, other ARs may be better. If they're 20 feet away from you, doesn't really matter.

Correction: the KSG-12 has 6 pellets, so it's more than half<>|America|<> wrote: KSG was the first shotgun I used and I got kills with it like crazy. The FAD is good, but I'd still never use it since I feel it isn't good for killing head campers or people watching through window, just because of the kick. The ACR can take out people in the Fallen building from the other side of the map, I doubt most assault rifles can do that.
In fact, the SCAR is only 0.75 rounds per sec faster, which is nothing really, and it takes 5 bullets to kill long range and 3 short range, so it would get beaten in long range and is matched in short range. Also you need to remember speed isn't always good. You tend to run out of ammo fast and reload more, which can cause problems. And the ACR does ALOT more damage, both short and long
But like solja said, it's all to your taste.
