I do agree with you but we've got like 10 (?) global admins and the most active ones are Vash, DC and Penguin; since Penguin was involved in that kind of flame war, only Vash and DC could lock that topic, and they can't be online 24/7. Although I hope that our friendly atmosphere won't turn into a big -idgaf about forum rules- which is of course not a great thing.

Don't get me wrong, I think you're fun, but I hate to see things go too far as it is insulting sometimes.

See this is the problem people think just because it's the internet people can talk shit to each other. We're a clan, and a lot of us are close friends, so I don't think the same rules apply.

People should really read back at StatusQ3's posts because it was absolutely noticed at the beginning.

About the topic, since maybe some people still didn't get the message: Yes, I'm not online 24/7 to moderate the forums. But as soon as I saw that topic going into a flame war, I locked it to prevent more swearing and spam.

I actually agree with Penguin. Surely, that topic wasn't one that everyone would love. But since nobody (including American users) didn't feel offended, everything was alright. If you, Infinity Dot and Firetrap900, don't like the topic, simply don't post in there. But please don't talk in the name of America or American users by not being American. Esspecially not, if those users already understood the topic as fun.

It's like I make fun jokes about Italians, Pacio joins in (as he's Italian) and find it funny and then an Irish guy says "maybe Italian people find this offending". What the...? I say it again: why do you speak for other people?

If _one_ American contacted me saying "Hey Vash I don't like that topic etc." I would have locked it instantly since I respect my forum users. All of them.

Internet itself says it all, you only know these people via a screen and if someone annoys you the best thing to do is to send a PM to anyone who can help you. Even in a clan there are some people you can't like and that's okay. Just ignore them instead of fighting on every topics..

No. After I locked his topic he could have PMed me. He could have tried to convince me about his opinion. Maybe I would have unlocked it after his message.

Like I said before, I am partly American, a lot of my childhood was spent there, and I keep those memories close to me. It was again, in my case, not me getting butthurt over them making fun of Americans, it was StatusQ3's message to ROBBD. I really don't want to quote it, so all I'm going to say is read that post again and then you will realise why I snapped, there was nothing harmless about that, and whether it was a troll or not I don't give a fuck.
