What Religion do you follow?

This is just a topic to discuss what religions you believe in, why you believe in them and what signifcance it has in your life. Over 2 billion people are christian and an estimated 1.6 billion are muslim they almost account for half of the worlds population!

Please remember to respect each others views and their beliefs, everyone is entitled to believe what they want. Any Flames will be removed and you will be given a warning!

My personal opinion:

I do not believe in God.
But I respect everyone who does, everyone may have their own opinion and own believes.
I haven't been to church since I was 10. (16 now) Because I feel akward in a church, I don't believe in God so I have no purpose of being in a church.
I am very interested in talking about God, well life in general.
Because rumor has it that God, Allah, Boeddah, created everything on this earth.
Could be but what created God, exactly you cannot explain, noone can. And I love to talk about that, talk about the universe and other things you can't explain.
So back on topic, I'm an Atheist, but I might be proven wrong about this sometime.



Keep in mind, right of free speech but keep it nice.

unlike most ppl in Bayern i don't believe everything in the bible

i believe in God.
i believe in Heaven and Hell.
what i don't believe is that all these holly dudes that where supposed to be b4 use and all that shit.
God is the only person who can tell me what to do. but i think he is just a kid with an ant farm, he just watches and watches and takes the dead to heaven that i don't think the church is all that good. a preist and say anything in a church and ppl will believe him...i think that STUPID! thats y american is being attacked by those idoits cause thier preists told them what their boss said they should say and i HATE THAT. if ur going to be a preist that listen to God and NO ONE ELSE.

Another blast! I'm an atheist, but my friends are religious even though they don't know what god made =/ but if I had to believe in something I'd believe in Thor, Oden and all of those, course they are so awesome!!

EXACTLY what I am saying all the time, not alot more than 1 hour ago, Hasero, me and some friends had this conversation.

Yes I know God being the creater of ALL things would be the most logical explanation.
But I'm not the person that just believes anything that someone tells me, I want proof and facts. Too bad there cannot be a good fact about this topic.
But anyway, there's a possebility of a God, that has been here forever, but there's one thing I want to know: What created God, and I know this is a never-ending-cirlce but I just can't accept anything like that. Nothing on this earth just 'lives' in an instance. Just from this second to the other a thing appears, so neither can God. That really brings me to aliens and the universe, that could be a whole other topic though, so I will not start about that on this topic.
And I know, as I said before, this IS a never ending circle, because in order for something to start, it needs a reaction. And every reaction needs something to cause it, meaning that something that causes the reaction needs something to cause it, and on and on.

This is the part where I get confused. From my point of view, I cannot believe that there was a time (or better to say, not even time) that there was NOTHING and then like a second later a space was created. And then comes the issue about what created the space, and how.
Very interesting topic to talk about.
