Tx-Generals: Attention!

Hey,

this is a message for the generals. But everyone else should be able to see this too, so feel free to talk about this topic.

In the last weeks I always heard the same sentences from different members and players:

"Normal members with low ranks in TX don't have any rights because their oppinions get neglected. Complaining about a general is forbidden and generals don't care about the oppinions of members."

I didn't recognized that so much, but since many players (not only TX) recognized that, there must be an element of truth.

So, I'm asking you, generals of TX: Why are you generals?

Many members wanted you to lead their squad, they wanted you to be their REPRESENTATIVE. That means you take care about the oppinions of your squadmembers and afterwards you take decisions.

When you take a decision, not everyone will be happy with that. But your job is to satisfy the highest possible amount of members.

When the leadership decided that you will be a general, we didn't decided that because you are a pwner. Sure it's necessary to be a gen, but we chose you as general because we thought you will lead your squad very well.

Leading a squad isn't easy. You have to go into the members oppinions, ask them what they want, and afterwards you have to make decisions your squadmembers agree with.

You may think that this is obvious and you already did that, but my appeal to you is: Take more care about the members, take care of their oppinion, cause its necessary!

You as general don't decide alone, you have to go after the member's minds (Means you have to compromise)

In addition I wanted to say that you (generals) have to accept criticism. People should feel free to complain about you, they should be able to tell you what you do wrong, without having the feeling to get trouble.

It's part of your job to accept the negative feedback and to do it right next time. I'm not meaning members should complain all the time. But they should do it if it's necessary and you have to accept the criticism.

I also get criticism and I use it to improve my job as DivGen. I hope you do so too.

One last thing. It's for everyone, not just the generals. I told you that thousand times, but you repeat it again and again. If someone leaves, don't flame. It's a sign that you don't have any respect at all.

We are a professional clan with mature members... If you think that players from other clans are idiots, it's ok. But keep it for you. You don't have to tell everyone that leavers are idiots, cause they have no good reasons to leave...

PS: I don't wanna read: "OMG another topic like that". I made this topic to make things clearer and to improve the athmosphere. And no, that's not an offend. I wanted to make things clearer because members complained about this topic.

I'm glad that you're here Krauser , you care about this clan alot and you establish every important point about this clan.

Respect needs to be improved in this clan + community, and its good to see that we're taking steps forward

This topic will help... since it's mainly adressed for the generals. And we only chosed mature generals. I'm sure they will get the message and use it to improve.

I'm not sure if the respect-thing will work... hopefully our members are mature enough to accept this message.
