I didn't had to. The original file I made was already set on highest possible quality.

I think Fraps is the best program for the in-game capturing. Xfire lag too much when you try to do videos in public.

I've tried the Xfire-video-capture, and it's just causing great lags. :/

Wih Fraps, you only can record 30 seconds if you have the free version. Besides you need to select 60 fps not to lag like hell, and then your video is like 500MO for 30 seconds.

I really recommend you to use GameCam. The quality is a bit worse but you don't lag so much compared to Fraps.
