sending files via xfire

hey guys i tried to send some files ti acer via xfire but for some reason it didnt work
he just got nothing and nothing happened on his computer
pls help me

That's a prob of your and your partner's Pc configuration (FW & co). But I must admit that Xfire is sometimes a bit strange...

I got the same problem.

Open Xfire, click on the button with the folder on it, and on the window on the right check the NAT status.
Then compare it with these codes:

Code: Select all

Code  	Beschreibung
1 	Fehler beim Erstellen eines Local Socket. Überprüfe die Berechtigungen und System Ressourcen. Möglicherweise musst Du den Computer neu starten.

7 	Dein Internetanbieter vermittelt Deine Nachrichten mit wechselnden externen IP Adressen. Dies macht die Verwendung von Xfire's P2P System unmöglich.

11 	An nat1.xfire.com gesendete Nachrichten haben Time out oder werden geblockt. Stelle sicher das Deine Firewall Xfire.exe das Senden und Erhalten von UDP Paketen erlaubt.

12 	An nat2.xfire.com gesendete Nachrichten haben Time out oder werden geblockt. Stelle sicher das Deine Firewall Xfire.exe das Senden und Erhalten von UDP Paketen erlaubt.

15 	Es ist ein unerwarteter Fehler aufgetreten. Überprüfe die Berechtigungen und System Ressourcen. Möglicherweise musst Du den Computer neu starten.

17 	Der Versuch ein Local socket zu konfigurieren ist fehlgeschlagen. Überprüfe die Berechtigungen und System Ressourcen. Möglicherweise musst Du den Computer neu starten.

18 	Ungültige Einträge in der xfire.ini angegeben. Entferne alle Einträge welche Nat1, Nat2, oder Nat3 einstellen.
