I think there is not much of an introduction needed for this game, since it is the most hyped piece of media since Halo 3. So, here it is: Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to Infinity Ward’s smash hit of 2007 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It has been praised as the ultimate first person shooter offering a true cinematic story and a multiplayer experience that will throw every other competitor out of the ring. And for the most part, this is exactly what Modern Warfare 2 is!

I have it and the Story is not good.
Anyway nice Action/FPS Game with awesome script Moments and nice Sound/Graphics. It´s defenatley not the game of the year :-)
But awesome shooter :P

Well the story is actually reall smart, but i can be that you dont understand it properly, because many people i talked to do not.

-ill play the multiplayer next week till the servers get any updates cuz i heard of some problems.

In my opinion the story of CoD4 is better, same counts for the gameplay.
The scenes of MW2 compared to CoD4 are a bit better, for example when you play in Washington, but as far as I can judge the game now, I prefer CoD4, eventhough MW2 is a great game.
Did not checked the multiplayer yet, because Steam has problems with Windows 7 and keeps crashing...

The gameplay is almost exaclty the same, so the gameplay in cod4 can't really be better. I think what you mean is the level design

finished singleplayer.

- Quite a nice story ( cannot wait for the successor to be released )
- Many unexpected events
- Big 'xplosions
- Action

i'll start the multiplayer now.

multi:
- no dedicated servers
- you are yourself server (8player ingame= you must have 3mb/sk ) so big match are no more (high ping)
- no mods no customaps
- you can't choose a server
- maybe you must buy Map packs & patches
- you !must! registry your game by steam
- so more cheater ( >VAC )
- No clanservers
- You haven't the maincontrol of your servers
- the price is fucking expensive (60€!!!)

Thats not my fav. game anymore.
This is very impertinent from Activion!!
All in all singleplayer is nice but multi isnt it.
I don't buy it !

I agree, Steam fails... I bought the game some days ago, but when I start Steam my computer crashes after a few minutes, even without launching MW2... tried it several times, always the same result.
The main part of the game is not available for me now, eventhought it is a legal copy, that really sucks.
