Lol....

Is it possible to host a server based on mods like this? I know it is, but would that need to overwrite the original files? Or can people install the mod and play the normal mode either at the same time?

Okay I may sound complicated.

Short: I download a mod like this, play on a mod server based on this mod. Can I still join normal servers?

YES sir it is. if the pikup weapons are edited at "map level" . say for instance for the normal tx mod sever maps the snipe could have a ammo capacity of 30 or the blaster or shotty hav upped ammo. on Map by Map basis !! even if say ther is a rocketlauncher it can be set that if u pikit up and fire it blows u up lol. yeh theres extra weps like superbattledroidblaster and droideka gun and dc15blasterclone the pikup mesh would appear on the map of the wep but the hudarms is for dc17mblaster in the gameengine.
all the standard rc maps hav set properties in the maps folder . so you can only do this kind of thing on TX mod maps or modmaps people download.. tx if they do this would be the first on a public scale to do so, the sandcrawler modmaps havent used edited weps yet at map level. :up: :cool:
TX-CAstle ithink has FLASHBANGNADES init wel thats only in campaign..
Also tx could have a mod download like sandcrawler with edited models eg clonetrooper vs cloneadult basically anything but i think its best workable for models in the clone animations pak clonetrooper,cloneadult,clonenohelmet,troopernohelmet

im not the worlds best rc player but im average at it . but its the main game i play. you might play 3 or 4 games noxy and the time is the same combined as i play rc.
i dont have a private xfire i dont hide. my time is for playing and modding logged.
i dont play rc without xfire logged on. i dont play on pc then go on ps3 or xbox.like many do. ok . many ppl play games much more than me but are not true about their habits.or are deceptive by their natur.Its not my way.
modding to me is a form of learning to me to wit Education. what is wrong with learning ? supernoob took under 1 hour to make with no tutorial.

That means everything is saved in the map file? Sounds cool.

We could bring a new map pack with modded weapons etc. That would be pretty nice!

ja man icepwn knows how to chang weps properties for sure. the skys the limit for what u kan do. 1 map mite have dc15blaster,superdroid blaster and droideka.
next map higher ammo capacity for snipe or less next map noobweps that if u pikup it blows the user up or suicides them. u kan even include a seperate
spezial TXproperties file with the mappak thats activated by certain maps. props files r only 180kb lol :cool: :up:

Franx sorry I didn't mean to be offensive, I meant it as a joke. Also I understand were your coming from as I'm getting back into SWRC and stoppin CSS for a while. But anyways back on topic. A new map pack would be a great idea and with new never seen before wepons. Also do Redcell or anyone make Map packs or just TX?

i think xstrange made most of em
