Suggestions for PROMOD version 2.0

Hi,

although version 2.0 of the promod wont come soon (2-4 months), I would like to start collecting ideas/suggestions sothat we can already work on it.

Here are a few ideas people told met yet:
-Removing the special points for returning/scoring.
-Ofc improving the flash nades
-Introducing perks (for example chosing between flash and smoke nade, choosing a spawn weapon [Dc15 Pistol + 1 free choice] etc.)
-Sniper damage zoomed the same as unzoomed

Creating a start-kit with weapons sounds really interesting. Do you think this is possible?

also include a extra properties file for MPPikups with the war mappak dload so DC15blasterclone and droidblaster can be utilised. when adding mppikups at final savepoint the properties.u can b kald ModProperties.u for instance and the droidblaster and dc15bc can be made as SMG class same as dc17b and uzi.
Someone before also i remember said smoke needs improve.
Also i think in the SKINS NAMES in customise the names can b changed. INFILTRATOR,GRENADIER,RANGER etc and i think they should be "piked from a hat" TX men so that thos named become legend for ever. 10 name skins . wel obiously VASH should get dedicate for starts.! :wink: s0 9 !!!

Also i think in the SKINS NAMES in customise the names can b changed.
I already changed that for the promod, they are simply called "skin 1", "skin 2" etc.

But the other things you said sound good, I've already tested similiar things for a 2nd sniper with a new skin etc.

yes ive had a tinker about with te sniper also and i think u need to have a sniper rifle in with the dc17snipe in props but with the diffrent mesh as it has a attach scope section init in weapon but strangeley the bowcaster doesnt.hmmmm :neutral: its very difficult do the props editing sumtimes all trial and testing of which you do many hours now. i dont know if everyone apreciate that or understand all time u spend IRON but keep up gudwerk herr !!!

We could try the next promod in a different way sothat it's possible to have both games promod and retail in just 1 folder and it's just 1 game without switching and that stuff.
Already tested a few things and so far it looks as if it could work. :)
It's just more complicated and requires a bit more time.

My next suggestion for promod would be a less powered ACP weapon.
Looking at the name promod it should not be that overpowerd as it is at the moment, just camping behind a door with ACP might be tactic, but also we want to create interesting fights in promod matches and that aint possible with such a powerfull ACP.

It is way too easy on most maps, just needing 1 shot is insane, there should be at least 2 hits needed even in a close range (there is melee for that). Just as with sniper, a hit from 100 meters makes the same damage as from 1, why should that be different with ACP (ofc because of the high spray rate not 100 meters, but 15 should be the same damage as 1).

Promod should create a better weapon balancing, and with not changing the ACP we wont reach that.

Well , yeah.
Srsly I dont want to see any weapons "dispowered".
I like them how they are now. Maybe edit the "Scattering" of the Bulltest that you donthit anything in about 10 meters and more. This would be better then just discrease the Damage.

The weapons are well balanced in my opinion, some weapons are good at some maps, and some aren't. We've always played with that. :)

I think creating a few new weapons would be more interesting.

yeh prime candidates are te dc15blaster and droidblaster can be made to smg like uzi and dc17blaster ?? ive test made a Magnum (copy of dc15s ) grey but fires trandorifle bullets reskinned and with animation and also a gunmetalgrey commandobowcaster (maybe can have diffrnt bowcaster shots ? faster/less bounce) maybe also bacta reviver can be a electric shokgun ? bzzzzzzzz :cool:
CCPIV mastermodder i think is testing a CHAINSAW for rc !!!! :shocked:

Good idea, Fraz: The bowcaster should rly shoot faster, then it's a cool and more useful weapon. Additionally the dmg should be slightly higher.
