RepCom without CD?!

Hey,

does anyone knows how I can install and play RepCom without a CD? But I've my code here... .
I am on my laptop in another city and want to play SWRC, but I didn't find my CD at home when we left. I won't buy it for 10 days now again.
No illegal stuff please, so I think it's sth. for Vash or Iron. ;)

I don't get what you mean.

You want to install RepCom without a CD, did I understand you correctly?

If yes, just copy the whole RepCom folder from your computer to the laptop, run the CDKey.exe in the "Install" folder, use a no-cd crack and enjoy the game.

You can not do anything then.
If you have no possiblity to copy the folder from your PC at home to your laptop and without the CD, you could just download the game. But since that's illegal I neither suggest it nor help with that. You've to be patient till you're back at home.

Ich bin bereits in ner' anderen Stadt.
Mein Freund, der mitgekommen ist, hat RepCom auf seinem Laptop. Ich habe mir den kompletten Ordner auf meinen gezogen, aber jetzt steht hier ich muss die CD einlegen.

Naja bei No-CD fixes handelt es sich eher um eine rechtliche Grauzone.

Generell sollte das kein Problem sein, solange Dein Key legal ist.

Btw. musst Du, um Online spielen zu können, Deinen CD-Key im Laptop eintragen. Dazu rufst Du, wie ich bereits gesagt habe, die CDKey.exe im "Install" Ordner auf und gibst ihn ein. Das musst Du nur einmal machen.

Wenn Du Deinen key nicht zur Hand hast, musst Du wohl Kampagne spielen, oder RC sein lassen. :-)

wieso macht ihr das alles so schwer?
Geh einfach auf:
LucasArts -> GameData -> System -> SWRepublicCommando.exe

Die einfach Kopieren, und dann auf den Desktop, Rechtsklick Verknüpfung einfügen.
Fertig.
Ich hab NIE einen crack benutzt, oder i-was an meiner CD verändert.
Es funktioniert so wunderbar.

Für das, was Du gesagt hast, brauch man eine CD. Er will das Spiel aber ohne CD spielen. Da braucht man wohl einen Crack für, oder nicht? (:

Ich brauche keine CD für die cd gammelt bei mir i-wo im regal.
Ich hab die CD vorhin das erste mal seit 1 jahr rausgeholt, und repcom gespielt ;)

Ja, das meine ich wohl auch.

Ohne Crack kommt eine Fehlermeldung. "Bitte legen Sie die CD...."

Und was heißt "gecracked"? Da wird eine .exe Datei ersetzt und das war's. Kann schon sein, dass Du das damals mal gemacht hast, vllt. sogar auf meinen Tipp hin. :-)
