Hey guys, here`s the montage from iBlast`s our new CoD6: MW2 members.

This is the second version of his montage, the first one was bad in his eyes.

This new one has been made with Sony Vegas Pro.

Btw this is his first montage with Sony Vegas Pro, so it`s not Acer`s montage...

+ Some nice skills (no scopes, quickscopes)

- horrible choice of music (imo)
- really bad intro
- cuts seem random
- no real video flow

Verdict: Not a good montage.

stopped watchign after one minute
music was actually some fresh air and i liked it ffor some reason
rest was once again a let down

vegas is mostly for cutting and nothing else except ur really talented and good at clean edits
another point were the boring clips they are pub and so atleast i do expect some spectacular cclips
i come up with the same result as ridlley: bad montage soz

Just because you're Viva you're not pro.
Even your first videos were not good, you had to learn and improve your knowledge, but by going insane at every video and with just saying it is bad you do not help anyone. You should give some serious feedback instead and say what he should do better next time, I think the comments on your videos also helped you on your way till you finally started to be able to create good videos, now be a help for this guy and give some better advice. Take a look at Ridley's replies, they're so much better than yours.

well youre right iron
but please do understand that its actually not that hard to get started with the easiest things
e.g. 16:9
every dumbass notices that 4:3 vid looks dif than good fragmovies ( 16:9)
thats the first point
another point are effects as already explaint in my previous post vegas is not good for eeffects as long as you dont have any plugins( ask nooky for those)
as long as you neather have the plugins nor after effects
i do not recommand to work with many effects as long as you dont know how to use them ( if you want some advice for nice effects in after effects assk acer)
then to the quality the quality is bad
learn how to render with a good render setup ( contact me or search on youtube to find nice tuts for that)
for making nice and creative intros try to think outside the box
try to think of something special ( can eather be done in a very simply way or needs more advanced programs you can ask me for that as well)
the last thing is the cut and its transitions
try not to make your scenes too long otherwise theyll just cause boredom
try to be creative with nice and original transitions ( masking) or just use the ones vegas offers you but do use transitions instead of just one clips after another

To the montage:

I mostly agree with Ridley and Viva. But Iron is also right; in the point that everybody's first montage is bad... I remember my first trys with movie maker those montages were just horrible.
IBlast you shouldn't give up to early! Accept the critics and try to make it better..every feedback is usefull.

EDIT: Just ask me how to make 16:9, if you don't know it yet.
+ Download Magic Bullet (it contains color effects and is a free SV PlugIn)

It`s a newbie for Sony Vegas Pro. He`s using it since 1 week. Never looked for tutorials or something else. I don`t think that you did so better than him whene you started..!

I dont give up it's a test because I just get sony vegas since some days.
So no problems I just try to make a new better montage ^-^.
I just tried to make something new compare to my old one with Movie Maker.

@Viva: Not because I use Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 I'm a pro you're right.
But I use it to try some effects that are not in Movie Maker and test a new software because I think I cant be better if I use only Movie Maker

Yeah, right. Viva, don`t be so rude with him he`s using this software for around 1 week...

Anyway my feedbacks:

- Music is cool and fresh and doesn`t correspond for a Fps game montage.
- Intro looks like eyes cancer and a bit bad, but for a test, it looks like okey.
- Really impressive fast scops, quick scops and you have got a really good game play.
- Maybe a end video would be great to your video like I hope you enjoyed this video.

Anyway I really enjoyed this video, looks like so cool for a first video montage from a new member since some day already giving us a montage

I agree with Viva and Ridley but imo the montage itself, beside the editing, is not that good because MW:2 is just a lame game and not suitable for making a montage about it.

actually Mw2 is a very good game to make montages of, if you have the skill to pull off no scopes, quickscopes, dragscopes etc
