I actually think he is not in the limbo anymore, the rotary was about to tilt. But he obvisously does not care anymore where he is, as long as he is back at home with his family. That's probably why we did not get to know where he is and the screen turned black.

Saw it in IMAX (amazing) in San Francisco, but in english, it's so complicated and in english i did not understand everything, i got to watch it in french again to understand everything.

Cobb must be in limbus because he missed the final kick (van falling down into water) so it was not possible to return from level 4. When he meets Sato as an old man, you see Sato picking up the pistol but you don't see what he does with it. He had to shoot Cobb first in order to get him out of level 4 . Additionally Cobb's children wear the same clothes as in his dream and the behaviour is exactly the same. This is no accident. Another important scene which proves my theory is the airport where all people watch him. People only have such a penetrating look if YOU are the dreamer yourself (remember the first scene where Cobb showed the dream world to Ariadne). The teetotum in the end is only wobbling so that it's more or less up to the spectator. It never wobbled before in the dreams but this effect is obviously created in order to create an open end (although it's not really open if you read my statements).

I think that the ending actually happens within the real world, because in his dreams Cobb never dared to look into his children's faces, because he knew they were not real. And as there was no gravitating moment that should have moved him from his behaviour he only went to see his children because they were real.
You could argue that they sit in the same spot and got the same clothes on, but i think that is due to cinematography, because just having them randomly standing around in pijamas would not have fit into the theme.

To get out of Level 4 Cobb could have shot himself with Sato's pistol, skip the levels 3 and 2 because Fischer (as the dreamer) is already out of there, and then get the kick at level 1, due to him suddenly waking up underawater.

Btw I think there is no right or wrong when it comes to the ending. Everybody has a different theory and at the end of the day it only comes down to interpretation and personal opinion, which are not absolute

Ofc there're many interpretations possible. But I still believe there're not many of them which are suitable because of given and disapproved facts.

Only his friends/guys from the mission are looking at him, others in the background and the ppl around him are behaving normally.

That's right: only his friends are looking at him. Actually it could all have been a dream until they woke up in the plane. But the strange views of the people indicate that it was not. Additionally Saito calls someone so that Cobb can pass the security. So that can't be.
So whether Saito shot both out of level 4, then the end was reality or he only shot himself, then Cobb is in limbus.
It also could be that it became a big dream when they were in this bar and tested the Sedativum or as Iron sad, everything was a dream. The last theory is too simple in my eyes so I don't like it :)

Hm wait... the whole movie can't be a dream as the teetorum falls over in two scenes. Except you say it's a dream itself and the whole thing with the totems is just a dream/imagination. But why should he wake up in a moment of happiness when he sees his children?

Hah wait: If it was a dream he would have woken up directly after his death in his dreams. Because that's what happens in "real" dreams.
