Hey, guys!

In the last few month, I have noticed that like 80% of all players from the RepCom-Community turned into so called "shotgun-whores/pussies".
A lot of people (e.g. Narcissus, me, Loon, Aquaz, Seany, Ironhide ...) are complaining about this. It is really annoying to play against opponents who use SHOTGUN ONLY or mostly shotgun (actually using shotgun at all). It is NOT funny to play then. This weapon does not require skill at all. You can crouch, wait until your opponent stepped/is walking and then shoot. Dont even try to denie this fact. Why do you think is every newbie using shotgun the whole time? ;)
Many players who WERE USED TO BE really good like Zarbon, Storm, Viper, Goldjunge, Avelyn, etc. are mostly using shotgun nowadays. It is poor to see, since they have owned with snip and blast back in the old days, BUT: some of them are still good with this weapons. So WHY do you use the shotgun? Just because your opponent is using it? Damn it, own him with sniper in two shots or blaster him down within a few secs, its not that hard! He will see that shotgun is actually pretty useless when you are facing good players.
I dare to ragequit because of this. I have no fun at playing RC if people play like faggots. I would like all of you to stop using shotgun and concentrate on training sniper and blaster. I would like to have a "NO SHOTGUN RULE", eventhough its kinda impossible, thats why i want u to stop using it by urself, without being forced by a shitty rule. TeamXtreme should not turn into such a gay-clan concerning ingame-behaviour.

I can play with 3 Blast and Snip too.
And after someone will say : Blaster is bad, it depends too many of the ping and blablabla.
And we will use just sniper, that's bullshit in my opinion.

lol. look at me: ive got a shitty connection + lowping-server ping is at 48. guys like storm got 24 or smthing and i am at least as good as they are with a pretty low ping.
it doesnt matter in europe, the difference isnt that huge.
when u say "i can play blaster and sniper too", it doesnt mean that you are rly good with them. i mean you should become really good witht his weapons. when i ask shotgun-whores why they are using shotgun they reply "cuz i cant kill u with other weaps". EVERYTIME I ASK!
there you go. its all about skill, and ppl are too lazy to become good with snip n blast. and, no, u dont have to train 24/7 its enough to use them in interns and on pubs when u play, after like 2-3 weeks u should feel a difference.

That list is far from exhaustive, but alright.

This seems to contradict your point. If the sniper and blaster are more useful than the shotgun when used by a good player, you can just own them right? (It's less fun to play like that, true.)

rofl. that were the good ones ive listed up. all this average players (mostly former gg-guys, rrp, ma and some rc players) are using shotgun ONLY, but they arent even worth to be listed up.

yea, i mostly own them, thats true. but its not cool, even if i own them. and its ridiculous if they crouch the whole time so u cant skill-hs them and they hit 4 times and u die.

I could not agree more with you, Geniuz.
If you have a look at the public servers, most of the random strangers are using shotgun only because they do not know how to get some kills with another map which actually requires skill. In the past few months the number of clan-players who are using this weapon more than 90% of the time increased a lot. I do not know if they just can not play elsewise but it is very annoying. This is not only very boring it is also pretty low, if you see that you can kill your opponent with 1 shot even when you do not hit his head. Just like with AA, Conc. and Rocket. And as you probably noticed these weapons are all forbidden because they're too easy to use. It is actually the same with the ACP. Of course it should not be forbidden, but since it is quite overpowerd on low distances (and so on most of the maps) it should 1) not be placed that often on maps (we could change that in a mappack) or 2) just increase the weapon's respawn time.
That would help out a lot since probably most of these annoying ACP only users would not stop using it 24/7 on their own.

Playing with other weapons is not only more fun but also increasing the player's skill, so you're even helping yourself if you stop using it that much - and you probably agree that a higher skill level would help you.

I'm not really good with Blast,If I'm in a Dual Snipe against Blast that's hard for me. I'm not a great player like u,Samo,Iron, Acer or other rly good player, so I use Shotgun, but I understand and I respect your word. I'll try to use less the shot gun, but please all, stop crying when we kill you with it.

yea, ur right; blaster only is gay, too, but i think nobody uses blaster only, they mostly use snip, too ;)

and, ye, ppl who arent that good with snip n blast use shotgun, as i said before, but that should be a signal for training instead of using a gay wep. u can compare it with weight lifting:

if u suck at one exercise, like, ur not benchin that much or smthing. u can
a) keep training
b) cheat (not lowering to ur chest)
OR c) switch to another exercise

in repcom:
a) keep snip training
b) zoomblast
c) shotgun :)

I agree with you that shotgun isn't that cool weapon. But now to change using shotgun is impossible, because SWRC is really inactive and when people want to play with it like RRP, MA, RC or TX there is nothing what we can do. These are the last, good clans in RC and they won't change this rule.

Anyway, of course we like to play with shotgun and we're maybe skilled with it, but that's not all we use. And I know you know that, but what you annoy is shotgun only. So talk to these people, who use shotty only in your mind and hope, they'll change it a bit like playing shotty 50% and rest 50%. Btw. don't forget that shotty helps a lot, when you've the flag and behind you comes the enemy. ;)
