For me it's without a doubt Mass Effect 2. Great story, perfectly crafted gameplay and just the right balance between role-playing and action. It's safe to say I've been seriously addicted to that game in the beginning of the year

As the game is slowly coming to an end, and since this community is largely about gaming, I'd like to know what has been YOUR game of the year.

hard to tell... I would say Starcraft2 but i also like the new Need For Speed Hot Pursuit.

Modern Warfare 2. And yes in all technical ways it sucked, weapons were overpowered and all but i fukin' Loved it!
