Ironhide & TeamXtreme

Post by Vash »

Dear TeamXtreme members, dear well-respected forum users,

I'm here to announce that Ironhide who has recently left our community, does return. Please keep reading.

I had a very long conversation with him, about him and about the whole community, in and outside of TX. What is now happening, did never happen in TeamXtreme till the present day. He is going to return to his old position and even more.

I'm sure most people here will agree, that Ironhide did ALOT for the community and esspecially for TeamXtreme. I actually have seen many members resigning and many members joining this clan who did also much for this clan. I've seen idiots, I've seen very friendly and respectable persons, I've seen very active players, I've seen very unique persons. And Ironhide is one of them. He is unique. Let me explain you why.

Of course he did alot for the clan, of course he did alot for the community, I'm repeating things I've said already. At this point his uniqueness does not come from those works only - there is alot more behind the scenes. He's actually like me: always up to get things "running" here in TX with alot of "zest for action". I didn't see any compareable dedication to TX at any time.

He came to the point that his dedication is getting pissed on. Not only by people only - by the "how" of things in TX are happening recently. It's like "I did 100% and the answer is 'fuck you' . I think even the last one understood what I'm talking about here.

I don't want to lose this guy. Seriously. His dedication helps alot, regardless about any technical aspect or about any social or inner-clan issues. Of course we had and have people with these attributes. But not a single of them does or did care that much about TeamXtreme and the community itself, than Ironhide.

He is a great help and he is even going to be an even more one, because I decided to promote him to the new head of the Command Council. With this and like when 2011 has started, a new time is coming in TeamXtreme. Problems will get focussed in a new way and much faster and more effective. Perhaps there will come a few more or less hard sanctions against people who do not follow us on the new way. I will not be soft to people pissing on TeamXtreme's (important) rules and even pillars! (Info: This does not mean you get kicked for not wearing your clan tags ingame.... I'm talking about the deep problems in TX, I think you know what I mean.)

TeamXtreme is going to change, even one more time. Of course not the last time!

~Vash

EDIT: Some addition.

Before you say "Ironhide does very much, but how does he deserve this?" Simple: You don't have any idea what is happening behind the scenes. The services in TeamXtreme, such as servers, forums, organisation, ideas and platforms are getting decided and discussed. Things what are actually USUAL for you do happen without your attention. You don't even waste time about thinking about it. Many things which were done for TX is Ironhide's work or a work of both of us. He is a very good help that's it. No doubt about it! What you don't see does not mean "it doesn't happen".

EDIT2: It was a hard decison for him. And he IS NOT coming back to get head of CC, that's simply bullshit and I won't even discuss about "this".

Read and understood.
Welcome back, Iron !

he gets promoted for leaving the clan? he certainly is the right person for this spot but he leaves TX and joins RC and the second after that you give him the spot of the Head Judge in the CC?
Please dont get me wrong Iron as i said in your leave topic I always respected you and the work and effort which you put in TX which is surely beyond comparison but this just sounds wrong to me... hate me for that but I will not just sit back and be quiet if I disagree with such a decision...

If you read my EDIT2, I said I won't even discuss about this. Ironhide is a great help and not able to be replaced with anyone at this time. His effort was like 1000% more than anything you ever did for the clan, Shanks. Nothing against you, I'm just being objective. I just watch the facts.

If I let him being Private he is actually "wasted". If I let him being in RC, he will lose everything he ever was standing and looking for in the RepCom community and he will be a new name on the list of the "forgotten ones" sometime for sure. I will not waste such a good help and I will not miss it and I will do everything to get this clan running and getting back on it's way. Even if I have to break my own rules.

You don't have to agree with my decision. That's your right. But just see it will help the whole clan. That's my aim.

EDIT: Please do not keep discussing. Message me on Xfire if you want to comment my statements.

Sorry Vash, I have to agree with Shanks on some points.
Iron is undeniably one of the most dedicated guy this clan has ever known. Furthermore, although I disagreed him often, I have always respected him because he is someone who can talk and express his opinion very well and I am very happy that he has decided to return to TX. Nevertheless, I do see this promotion like "I promo you so that you don't leave". I don't know whether you understand what I mean, but this is a weird move since (if I remember well) the CC decided not to have a head.
Anyways, I am very happy that you made Iron stay here, in TX, is which definitely his home.

EDIT: Sorry I had almost finished my post when I noticed that you said we should not discuss here, and I didn't want to delete everything. ^^

I don't wonder with comments like this. It's no. 1 people start to think. Both of us saw this coming. It's difficult to prove this sentence wrong.

During our long talk, we had many many things to solve. Iron did not want to return even after 3 hours of my "come back you idiot" and about my "offers" I made him. It's not a secret I said "I want your help and support back." His statement was basically like "Why should I do that? People do not care about this anyways."

I said I will start getting the inner-clan problems solved quickly and with all needed sanctions or changes. If Iron would play a better role, he could simply help me better. Even after my offer, he said he actually can't since people would start thinking like "this" you mentioned, Judge.

This is a "shit" I accept. I accept it, because I know it will help the clan. It might take some time to get the "full respect" back, but I accept it.

Uncommon arrangements for uncommon needs. Perfect decision in my eyes.

How came that Iron decided to come back?

Vash's offers can't be rejected. ;-)

He did not come back for the "new spot" though. It's 100% the truth. It needed a few days and hour-long conversations to get him back.

This probably does show that he was hit very hard by things that happened in TX recently.

EDIT: As you can see, people who help making TeamXtreme a better place do enjoy my full respect and I do everything to keep them and to keep the good atmosphere.

EDIT2: I do my best to help, even if I do sometimes earn disrespect for some decisions.

Ironhide is and will be the best one for this postion. And I think that he is the most valuable person TeamXtreme ever had besides Vash. So let see how the "new" TX will be ;)

in my honest opinion this just proves, that the rules you obviously care so much about are not stable at all.
ironhide, with all the experience and dedication he has, was a member who left 3 to 4 times and a person some people didnt get along with.
as often you say you care about the rule you do break them within no second of hesitating.
this is just not fair for a lot of other members, who didnt get a fourth chance even tho ironhide is so valuable, your rules should be rules and those can be broken one, maybe two times but not more with even higher positions in the clan.
this is just my opinion as a ex member of the clan and i hope my post doesnt get deleted emmidiently
anyway hope it helps you guys etc
you can´t ban me ":D"

Well I'm happy that a guy like Ironhide comes back to us, but I think it's just unfair that a guy who left 5(?) times rejoins as if nothing happens and earns his great rank again + the status of head of CC, when there are many other guys here with lower ranks, who've never left the clan and still do something for it; that's my opinion, but I'm not going to discuss your decisions of course.

Welcome back anyway.

P.S.: I think some other guys there got my same thought, I just hope me & judge & shanks & viva won't be the only four guys who have something to say.

This is another thing I've seen coming. Yea, TX might be called the place of the rulebreakers and I do actually agree with you.

But now, a more strict and problem-solving time is coming. Not to say "more rules, stricter clan etc.". It's another level. We will focuss on TX's main problems and issues, we help each other raising the clan into a new level. It might sound crazy, but the last time I was having that much impulsive bringing good changes for TX was like 3 years ago.

But to make it clear: of course Ironhide is a member of TX. And I swear to God, this is the VERY last time I accept a return. Additionally I repeat it wasn't his idea to come back. Short: If he leaves again, after all this, he will be banned. But I don't think this will come. Wow I'm up to DO SOMETHING!! JUST DO SOMETHING FOR TX!
