This version does not only need less space (setup space reduced from 180MB to 68! Disk space reduced from 450MB to 155MB!), it is actually including all the features as the full version 1.1c! Besides making all the files smaller we also removed all the maps, but if you already downloaded WarPack to your retail game you are well prepared for the PROMOD! The following trailer will show you all important features of the PROMOD. We fully concentrated on making PROMOD EASIER this time, you won't need two folders to play it anymore! One folder is enough to play PROMOD LIGHT and retail Republic Commando! You can also join PROMOD v1.1c servers with the light version. Once you have installed the PROMOD LIGHT into the "LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando" directory you will have another shortcut on your desktop called "TX Promod", you can always launch PROMOD with this icon. You can still start the retail game via Xfire or your normal shortcut, you have two shortcuts now!
You will also be able to use all Xfire In-Game features this time, that was not possible with previous versions of our PROMOD! But we also had to remove a little bit of our awesome PROMOD, hence the teams are still called 'Republic and 'Trandoshan', but you will play Republic vs. Republic! We think you can live with that.
But we have not only been working on the modification itself, we have also worked on the server infrastructure, from now on our private TeamXtreme servers do support retail and PROMOD matches! Without switching, waiting or copying files!
