You guys may have noticed the link "TeamXtreme Chat" on top of the forums. Well, it's self-explaining I guess. Just type in your username (no password) and enjoy.

I saw Vash posting in the "TX Mail" topic to remind us of the tool and I thought it might be a good idea to refresh this one aswell.
We should try to log on the chat more often. Sure you might think "Why should I log on the chat if there is already xfire". Here you go :
1) It is really well designed, easy to use, and easier to have a discussion within a group than on xfire.
2) Match organisation: all of those of you who regularly try to organise matches know how HORRIBLE it is to message 20 different people and to get 20 different answers: everybody wanting to know when the match starts, who they are playing against, etc.
=> Tell them to go on the chat and join a chatroom there.
3) You might meet new people who weren't on your xfire/steam memberlist !
Of course noone is forced to use it, especially if you do not like it or don't get the point of it, but I strongly assume that if many of us regularly join this chat everytime we log on the forums (open a side window for instance) it can have a really nice impact on our community :)

Just done it.
I'm all alone but i think its really good to get this working to be honest ecpecially since the new Console player will not have things such as xfire would be nice to get to know them via this chat.

The use of chatrooms on my other forums is really popular, it's really good for making better friendships and organising games. I think more TX members should use the chatroom.

I have been on it a few times (including now) but nobody ever seems to be on even though it's great

Seems the chat is getting slightly more popular, good thing!
Just one advice for everyone who is using the chat: you are strongly encouraged to specifiy in your xfire status that you're using the chat whenever you're using it. This might prevent a lot of faking.
At least know that's what I am doing :) So if "TX Chat" isn't in my xfire status, I am not in TX chat!
And of course, if you have important things to share/to discuss about, use XFIRE.
As I already mentioned, I think TX Chat perfectly fits when it comes to organising matches but not for serious talks.
