Vash, you wouldn't have happened to have won the lottery have you? :P

Anyway guys we can still get the TX BFBC2 section up by making friends with a european clan and we play regularly on their server (not matches) and then for matches we can play on the other clans server.
Well i like ur idea Jack.

Plan A: If we dont get any servers.

If the renting of a server should be really expensive then we could just play on pub servers, meet us together. We could play some scrims vs other clan in their servers.
To organize intern is possible but difficult. If we ask one of the clans to set us one if they arent against.

And guys i dont have the feeling u want play some little interns in such big maps.Thats nonsense x) I think we all want play more on pub servers for the first time. We dont need tx bfbc2 servers at once. We have to recruit members still... and until there i gues there is half year over and the costs for the server could be dropped.

This is a really poor plan.

Why do you guys want to support Dice's gay rules by buying the game?

This is no reason.

For example, Anno 1404 is also an awesome game, but like 60% of the people didn't buy it and rated it shitty on Amazon e.g. and forced the developer to remove this internet-activation-copy-protection shit by a patch, they made. I personally think, those developers shouldn't be supported when their decisions go against their customers.

You're right. Don't buy the game if you really like the gameplay, thats pure nonsense.

You should read what I've said about Anno 1404. You can't deny that that game was really well made and a great game at all with alot of features and details, BUT there was such a shitty copy protection "infecting" your system and a "three times" internet activation shit, where you must activate via internet, although it was an offline game.

It's my personal oppinion. If you want the developer/publisher to change something, just let them see, that you, the customer, doesn't let it happen to be twitted.

If enough people demonstratively don't buy the game, Dice will surely re-think about their decisions.

But I think I'm talking to a wall. Followers like you are the reason, that the developers think they can do what they want....

Here's the link to all those "1-star" ratings so many Amazon customers made and said they won't buy the game under these terms.

Because not everyone uses Steam? Those petitions are useless. Just don't buy the game. When they see that they're losing too many customers, something will be changed and not earlier.

Actually you have to use Steam for MW2... And of course these petitions are useless, but my post was not meant for a real answer, I thought the picture is self-explanatory.

There is no non-Steam retail version? I doubt that.

There is not, that's why the disagreement by the community with the decision was that big, you need it even for the singleplayer.. Well you can use a crack of course but it is not legal at all.

However, we should make a final decision when all details are known, not earlier.

Iron is right. It's like Half Life 2. Even if you buy it in a store you need to have steam installed.
Vash wrote:If enough people demonstratively don't buy the game, Dice will surely re-think about their decisions.
I doubt it. Surely EA has their hands in that affair aswell.
Also it worked with Anno 1404 because it is a PC exclusive. With BFBC2 over 80% of the sales are going to be based off Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 copies of the game, so there is no real pressure on Dice or EA.

We don't need server :)

Just play on public ... And if we don't choose BFBC2 as our new game, does it mean the bilion of polls we made were useless ?
We prepared this too much to stop it now. :slash:
But I still agree with Vash, the server system is idiot and they should change that ... But we can also try a petition.
