Ok I did a lot:
Trando vs. Blaster was unfair all the time. Now I decrease the aim error, so both weapon are more precise and have exactly the same properties. You have no disadvantage with the SMG now. I also increase the bowcaster and pistol damge. Sniper zoomed or not zoomed has the same damage now.
Is this ok?

On one hand we have DC17 worried it will be too powerful, and on ther other we have Ironhide and crimson worried it'll be essentially a pistol that doesn't shoot, this is all about balancing, see?
To make the "new weapon" isn't that hard, just set the original elite beam ammo to 1, and charge up time to max, then remove the sound and shake effects whilst charging (so it doesn't seem to "charge" when holding fire), change movement speed factor, melee range and damage. That's it.
So at most about 7 fields in the properties are changed from the original elite beam to make this "whole new weapon."
Changing the pistol will take 2 fields at most, (if you cahnge damage at all).
In response to Storm, I think the main reason some people hate the repeater is the aesthetics of the cross hair, but that's my opinion. (I personally liek the repeater)/

That sounds good, but I think Vash and arramus already figured out how to play rep vs rep. This means that the SMG is not in use. We could use the SMG as a new blaster-type maybe? With good damage but HIGH spray?S.T.O.R.M. wrote:Ok I did a lot:

Would it be possible to give the blaster and pistol better punch range? They should have the same as sniper or shotgun.

It's possible to increase melee range.
High damage repeating blaster with low accuracy, sounds a lot like Heavy repeater to me, except heavy repeater has slower speed and is thus less noob.
Also, I saw on sand crawler they were making all sorts of "X vs Y" mods, or at least Fraz was.

Umm I thin Sniper should have more damage as the fire rate is slower. And guys don't think that I "just" replace some things here. This is rly much work; it's not just one click and it works. So give me some SHORT advices and not so long texts. every1 has another opinion...
I think I do what I think is right and then you can test it. Otherwise this is chaos...
So I fixed the damage and in the evening I'm going to give the weapons some new colours. I mean the projectiles etc... Later I need some of you who creates a new sniper zoom crosshair. Any volunteers?

I think it would be good to increase the speed of the pistol shots, you can only use it in a circle of maybe 3-5 meters, but if you shoot over a distance of guessed 15 meters or even more your oppenent ist almost able to see where the shot goes and turn to any side ^^
