By turning off the special lightning at the same time, there would be like no places to hide..
You can also just play with a high brightness, I am using 8 for a couple of years now, it's exactly the same result as the TAG mod changes it. Just easier that way. Should specific graphic settings be forbidden now?
The zoom x2 is removed too which means you can zoom-blast even faster,
No? You can always switch directly from the zoom to the blaster, but that was also possible in the retail mode. You could always skip it.
I've also seen a screenshot where the player had a changed field of view
Also possible in the normal game. TAG mod just makes it faster to change.
If so, you're able to use a texture which is like 50% visible
You can replace the default texture by that, but then cant join any server. You need to edit the script and create even new packages to do that, I doubt anyone else except Storm is able to do that in TX besides of me.

And about the player reskin: That is the only real "advantage" you got by the mod, but such stuff exists for EVERY game out there.
99% of the people have a computer which is good enough to play RepCom on highest settings
People complain often enough, like on CoreStation where they do it during every match.
nd it's useless to put the game like a COD with 50 weapons..
TAG mod does not have new weapons.
there are no need to "cheat"
There are no cheats published.

About 90% of the "reasons" people mentioned are either already in the retail mode or not in the TAG mod at all, you just complain but have NO idea about it, just because you heard something bad you think it is bad... Fricking idiots.

If 90% of the mod is in the game already, then I guess you won't have any problems with the new rule at all. The version Penguin made should be more than enough. Or do you really, really need this small advantage to play properly?

I always had the "advantages" disabled anyway, and furthermore Penguins version does not work. You cannot move anymore. :)

Sure I could edit all the inis and create the things without the mod, but it just saves a lot of time, that's why it's easier and better to use.

I fixed it now.

Just need to remove the buggy behindview detection I added and it's ready.

Unfortunately Unrealed is being gay again.

This goes too far in my opinion. Just remove this bullshit from every server and if this is "only for fun" I don't see the problem to disable it. :wink:

If you read the thread, you would see TX members cannot use the TAG mod.

The version I have has no cheat features ;)

@numb: I actually removed the zoom at all on one of my profiles, even if I noscope you it deals the zoom damage, thats easily called macro and has nothing to do with this client mod, it is just an other way.

Take Pengus mod and stop ranting each other..

I don't want to talk about that now every thing here just restive me again, but as I always say the ping does not do everything, I've played with a +80 during 5 years and I did scores even better as the ones I did with my current ping, that's just an example ;)
