the WarZone staff has decided to change a lot of things within its organization and structure. This step has been taken to make our work faster, easier and even better.
So far there have been several teams within the WarZone staff itself, like the Modern Warfare 2 team, Republic Commando team, StarCraft II team and the own WarZone GFX team. These teams have been removed and will not exist anymore, one staff member will further on be responsible for all ladders, tournaments and games supported or hosted by WarZone. Also the GFX work will be exported to the default TeamXtreme GFX team in the future. All our requests will be handled by the TX GFX staff, an own hidden sub-forum is going to be opened soon.
Until now, the staff was built on several different spots and ranks. Like Referee, Head Referee, Managers Co-Admin and Admin, and each team had its own (Head) Referee(s) and also a team manager. Most of these spots were kind of useless and confusing, that's why we decided to handle all our work with only 2 spots from now on. The first spot will simply be called WarZone staff member while the second one is named WarZone staff admin. That's making things a lot easier for everyone. In the WarZone staff forums those two spots will have the same rights, we expect members as well as admins to post ideas, suggestions and to take part in WarZone discussions. The only difference is that WarZone members will not get full admin access on our website, but the members will also be granted limited rights to handle and manage our tournaments/ladders on the website while admins got full access to manage everything concerning WarZone. This is the current WarZone staff:
•Numb
•Vash
•Hasero (once he's active again)
•Ironhide
•Resh
•Splatter
•Irony
•Shanks
•Lionheart
According to the huge amount of lazy members we recently and ever had, we decided not to accept normal applications as fast as we did before. From now on, the WarZone staff admins will look for motivated members on their own, and if we think someone is worth joining we will contact them, talk to them and invite them in to the staff. This way we hope not to have members that only wanted to be in the staff to (probably) get a blue name on the forums. Because this happend a lot, we also decided to remove a few members from the current staff. Those members are:
•Sceaga
•Horror
•Legend
•Barcode
The staff has been a pretty closed team so far and the work was mostly hidden and secret, hence the tournaments we made have not always been that succesfull. You can probably not imagine how much time and work we actually spend into one single tournament, hence this is always disappointing and demotivating. We want to include the entire community into our projects, that means we might open public polls about upcoming ladders/tournaments, but we also want you to help us. Even if you ware not a member we appreciate your help and support. This is including "telling us ideas", "making corrections on announcements/ladders/tournaments, "giving us a detailed and usefull feedback" and much more. You should tell us any kind of information you consider as helpful.
Best regards,
TeamXtreme Warzone staff
